Woopi Camping

With the Summer holidays is full swing, and parents still with us, we spend a week camping in Woolgoolga (or Woopi for locals) where the lake meets the beach.
A beautiful spot and only a (beach) walk away from town.
With some daytrips to Coffs Botanical Garden and Urunga boardwalk for those rainy days.
The rain and coolers days were such a relief after another 40 degree heatwave!
While exploring the side roads, we made it all the way at the top of Sealy lookout, overviewing Coffs Harbour and the Solitary Islands.
Some monkeys only want to eat bananas perched in a tree...
The very entertaining “pop” of squashed bluebottles (jellyfish) on the beach.
Lunch and dinner with a view (and cooling breeze), BBQ plate toasties and tomato soup.
True campers meal!

These kids are mad sea lovers and bodyboarders! The eldest three are riding the waves all the way to the beach.
Going for our morning swim/coffee run.
Exploring the lake

Taking a break from wave jumping and Uno games. Holidays are so exhausting! ;-)
